Piano Lessons
Piano is the first instrument I learned, and what I specialize in teaching. I love to introduce students to new patterns and styles of music, all the while giving them a solid foundation and creating well-rounded musicians! Ages 5+
Voice Lessons
Full bodied ownership of your most important communication tool! (on hold until vaccines are available for elementary school students and mask mandates are lifted.)
Introductory ukulele and guitar lessons
Because it’s fun to play and sing. (Uke: age 8+; guitar: 11+) I primarily teach chords and rhythm patterns designed to accompany a student who loves to sing.
Song-writing Composition & Music Theory
Create your own art! It’s easier than you think to get started and so rewarding! I can introduce you to ukulele or guitar which is a great way to begin.

They Like Me!
Kristin has been wonderful with our 12-year-old son Liam, who has now been taught by her for two years. She has formed a friendly rapport with him, and hunts down the music he wants to learn. As a result, he finds playing the piano a pure joy, and never a chore. He practices without complaint, and this from a child who is hyperactive on his slow days. We are always surprised and impressed by the latest piece he has learned, and we know we have Kristin to thank for her calm, the relationship she builds with kids, and her teaching skill.
